A-35 Relationship between Suicidality and Discrepancies in Verbal and Nonverbal Intelligence in Adolescents

Abstract Objective Many have examined the relationship between intellectual functioning (IQ) and suicidality in children adolescents. However, no study to date has investigated how discrepancies verbal nonverbal IQ may influence suicide risk This used a sample of patients hospitalized on an adolescent psychiatric unit compare number lifetime attempts (SA) among those with ≥ 22-point difference abilities.
